FAQs

When should I start to invest in my long-term health?

Longevity medicine works best when it’s proactive, not reactive.

The science of ageing shows it doesn’t progress gradually, it accelerates at three key biological tipping points:
Early to mid-30s – early shifts in metabolism, immunity and protein stability
Early to mid-40s – a marked decline across cardiovascular, endocrine and musculoskeletal systems
Around 60 – a final drop in cellular repair, resilience and systemic integrity

Intervening at or before these inflection points – ideally from age 35 – offers the greatest opportunity to slow or reverse biological ageing.

Is longevity medicine for me?

If you’re 45+ and operating in a high-performance, cognitively demanding environment, then yes, Longevity medicine is designed for you. While your professional influence may be at its peak, your biology is already likely to be in decline.

At LONGEVITY we work with elite professionals who cannot afford cognitive fog, hormonal drift, mitochondrial fatigue or metabolic slowdown. Using advanced diagnostics, longevity-focused consultations and evidence-based protocols, we help recalibrate your biological age, restoring the resilience, clarity and energy you had a decade ago.

By how many years can I reduce my biological age?

With a sustained, two-year programme our patients typically reduce their biological age by 6 to 15 years through a combination of diagnostics, supplements, hormone optimisation and evidence-led medical interventions.

The progress is dependent on many factors including baseline fitness, existing illness burden, motivation and engagement.
However, our goal doesn’t stop at reversal, we help you maintain that lower biological age long-term, supporting better performance, health and quality of life.

What does the process involve?

Your journey starts with an in-depth video consultation with a LONGEVITY doctor. From there, we conduct advanced diagnostics to map your biological age and uncover early signs of decline. We then design a personalised intervention strategy covering hormonal, metabolic, vascular and cognitive health. Programmes can be supported by 24/7 physiological tracking via WHOOP 5.0 MG or Oura ring and expert guidance across nutrition, sleep and strength training.

How is LONGEVITY different from other health services?

Unlike traditional care that reacts to illness, we focus on preventing decline before it starts.

Our approach is grounded in the 4Ps of modern medicine:
Precise diagnostics
Personalised treatment plans
Predictive biomarker analysis
Preventative interventions

We blend the rigour of clinical medicine with the insights of emerging science, giving you access to interventions not yet widely available in the UK.

What does it cost?

Our programs start at £4995 for the Core 1 year programme. Our Vital and Elite programmes feature more comprehensive precision diagnostics and more intensive specialist input. These programmes are priced on application. At all stages we will keep you fully informed of programme costs, what’s included in the programme and any costs for additional optional services.

We also offer selective access consultations and diagnostics. This pathway allows you to address specific issues whilst benefiting from the clinical excellence of LONGEVITY. Consultations start from £250. Diagnostic prices on application.

Are consultations online?

All consultations are conducted online via a secure video link with either Dr Peter or Dr Lucy Scriven or one of our scientific experts. Our clients are typically busy professionals, and this flexible approach allows them to access expert care without the need to travel. It also enables us to deliver our services seamlessly across the UK, ensuring convenience without compromising on quality or personal attention.

Will I have to have blood taken?

Yes – blood testing is a vital part of the process. It’s quick, minimally invasive and taken from a single sample. From that one draw we can analyse over 250 biomarkers – providing deep insights into your hormonal, metabolic, cardiovascular and cellular health. These advanced tests go far beyond what’s available through the NHS, giving us the precision needed to tailor your longevity plan with accuracy and confidence.

LONGEVITY has access to highly specialised tests for mitochondrial function and early cancer detection for patients on the Vital and Elite programmes.

Where will I have my blood taken?

We work with a network of trusted phlebotomy partners across the UK. Following your consultation we will either find a convenient location near you and arrange a suitable appointment time, or our concierge phlebotomy team will come to your home or work address to collect your blood samples. Our aim is to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible, bringing advanced testing to your doorstep wherever you are.

How can you tell if my biological age is reducing?

We measure your biological age using a composite of several markers.

We use the GlycanAge test—a cutting-edge diagnostic that analyses sugar molecules (glycans) in your blood. These glycans are powerful markers of immune system health and chronic inflammation, two key drivers of biological ageing.
We perform the GlycanAge test (a simple blood test) at the start of your longevity journey to establish a baseline, and repeat it at key intervals to track progress.
This test allows us to:
Measure your biological age with scientific precision
Monitor your response to lifestyle and medical interventions
Detect early signs of age-related risk and chronic inflammation
While you may feel better – have more energy, sharper thinking, improved recovery – the GlycanAge test gives us objective data to confirm how your biology is responding and whether your biological age is moving in the right direction.

This information is integrated with your other biomarkers and physiological data from your wearable device to derive a measure of your biological age.

How are Longevity programmes paid for?

Each Longevity programme has a fixed Programme Fee defined at enrolment.
Most clients choose to settle their Programme Fee in full at enrolment.
For clients who prefer to distribute settlement over time, we also offer a staged settlement option. This allows the Programme Fee to be settled through an initial capital commitment followed by equal staged instalments over a fixed term.

What is staged settlement?
Staged settlement is a method of settling a fixed Programme Fee over a defined term.
It begins with an Initial Capital Commitment which releases your diagnostics, wearables, onboarding consultations and programme activation. The remaining Programme Fee is then settled in equal staged instalments over the agreed term.
Staged settlement is not a subscription, membership or finance product. It is a structured method of settling a fixed Programme Fee.

Is the Programme Fee different if I use staged settlement?
Yes.
Staged settlement is offered at a different Programme Fee to reflect the additional administration, operational handling and risk buffering required when settlement is distributed over time.
Available settlement structures and associated Programme Fees are presented during the enrolment process.

Is this a monthly membership or cancel-anytime arrangement?
No.
All Longevity programmes are fixed-term clinical programmes with a defined Programme Fee and defined clinical scope.
Staged settlement is a method of settling that fixed Programme Fee. It is not a rolling subscription, membership or cancel-anytime arrangement.

What happens if a staged instalment is missed?
If a staged instalment is not received, longitudinal Services may be temporarily paused until the account is brought back into good standing.
If staged instalments remain unpaid, the outstanding Programme Fee balance becomes immediately due and payable.

Can I settle my Programme Fee early?
Yes.
You may settle any outstanding Programme Fee balance in full at any time.
